Amazing MCM enamelled wall decoration from &#39;Harvey Creazioni&#39; (love the nod to Harvey the Invisible Rabbit on the label). It appears to be a very funky dancing sailor. In good condition, some hairline cracks in enamel which is normal with age.

Often confused as a single designer, Harvey Guzzini was a mid-century modern Italian company founded in 1959 by six brothers in the Guzzini family. Brothers Giovanni, Raimondo, Giuseppe, Adolfo, Virgilio and Giannuzio started the company to produce a range of lighting fixtures during the postwar years.

Harvey Creazioni was originally founded in 1959 in Recanti (on the east central coast of Italy) by Raimondo, focusing on the production of copper-plated decorative objects. Four years later, in June 1963, the six brothers joined together and established Harvey Creazioni di Guzzini, expanding production to include pendant lighting, sconces, and lamps, floor lamps.

Crystal glassware, designed by Tapio Wirkkala in 1974 for the Finnish design company Iittala. Made from high-quality clear crystal glass, characterized by a rugged bark-like texture on the underside that radiates outward, designed to mimic the rays of the sun. The line was in production from 1975 to 1995 and is highly sought after as part of Mid-Century Scandinavian design. Has a beautiful ice-like sparkle.
