Lot #45: Mid Century/Modern Maurice Savoie Ceramic glazed Pitcher with Orange Circle

Here is my favourite item in the whole event. This Maurice Savoie for Sial (Quebec) pitcher is equal parts decorative and useful. It's partly glazed, and partly raw ceramic. Dates to the late 60s/70s. Perfect condition. Hard to find and very collectible, it will compliment your home beautifully... maybe next to some teak ;) From Ceramics Canada: Maurice Savoie has been called the poéte de la céramique. His career and development are much different from what was going on in English-speaking Canada at the time. He travelled widely and felt it was something we should all do.
