These pitchers were made by John B. Taylor Ceramics in Louisville, Kentucky. This specific pattern is part of their popular &#34;Harvest&#34; or &#34;Grape & Vine&#34; collection, which was primarily produced from the 1940s through the 1960s. John B. Taylor took over the Lewis Pottery in 1938. His work is highly regarded for its heavy, durable stoneware and hand-painted, relief-molded designs. While they look like traditional European Majolica, these are actually American Stoneware. The &#34;waffle&#34; or lattice background on the larger pitcher is a signature look for this Taylor line. This is a Franklin Mint &#34;Carousel of the World&#34; collection. It is a high-end display set featuring miniature, hand-painted porcelain carousel animals. These sets were popular collectors&#39; items produced in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The set is known for its variety, including not just horses but exotic animals. The figurines are crafted from fine bisque porcelain, often accented with 24-karat gold or silver paint. They are arranged on a tiered, rotating hardwood display base with a central brass-finished or wooden spiral pole. The set includes all 12 of the figures and there are three additional duplicates in styrofoam packing. The turntable measures 17” diameter for scale. All appear in good condition. This is a djembe, a popular rope-tuned, goblet-shaped drum originally from West Africa. It features a wooden shell, which appears to be carved with a textured, faceted pattern along the upper bowl and decorative geometric and facial carvings on the base. It is topped with a skin head (often goatskin), which is secured and tensioned using a complex system of intertwined rope. 20” tall and in good condition. Bring packing material.
