study with the Italian ceramist Bruno Terese.
• The mug form itself was mold made,
but each piece was hand etched and
hand decorated, so each is unique.
• Mara specialized in high-temperature
ceramics, and developed unique, vibrant
glazes and a signature style of hand-
etched line drawings that blended
realism with abstraction
