Freemasons - Masonic Firing Glass • This piece is made by Kasper Bleikristall of Germany. Is hand blown lead crystal, and then hand etched. • The label dates this piece between 1970 and 1980. Symbols on the glass: 1) Square and Compasses: representing the Third Degree (Master Mason) and embodies moral lessons. 2) The Letter "G": representing God, geometry, or gnosis (knowledge). 3) Sun and Moon: represent the officers' positions in the lodge and the universality of Freemasonry. 4) Blazing Star: A sun that symbolizes Divine Providence and the pursuit of knowledge. 5) Other Tools: Various tools like the trowel, gavel, and plumb are engraved. • In very good condition, cracks, but two small chip on lip.
