Herkimer Diamonds are not diamonds at all, but small double-terminated quartz crystals named for Herkimer County, New York, where they are found. Double-terminated crystals of quartz are fairly rare, and these pieces are quite collectable. The crystals formed in small hollows in the Little Falls Dolostone, a formation some 500 million years old.

The Herkimer Diamond Solitaire is a playful take on the idea of a Diamond Solitaire Ring. Made from square-stock silver, with a simple cage-setting it has a minimal, industrial chic. Made in New York City.

A manual winding watch featuring a mechanical movement, 17 jewels. The dial commemorates Yuri Gagarin and the first manned space flight on April 12, 1961. 

The Pobeda brand emerged in 1946 and was produced by various Soviet watch factories, including the First Moscow Watch Factory (1MWF).  The Sturmanskie watch used a movement based on the Pobeda design and was produced under the Pobeda name for a period. The First Moscow Watch Factory, the producer of this specific watch model, eventually became known as the Poljot (Russian for &#34;Flight&#34;) watch brand. Yuri Gagarin&#39;s monumental journey into space in 1961 thrust Soviet watchmaking into the global spotlight. Aboard the Vostok 1, Gagarin wore the Sturmanskie (type 2 - improvement on the type I). HGE on gold jewelry is a hallmark and short form for ‘Heavy Gold Electroplate’, which is also mentioned as ‘H.G.E’ sometimes. This hallmark defines that the jewelry piece is made of a base metal like brass or copper, and then coated with a thick layer of gold, using the electroplating method. ‘Heavy’ in the name talks about a thicker-than-usual gold layer compared to the usual electroplating pieces. Very fine Large reproduction/print of the famous/classic hunting scene titled &#34;Autumn Meeting&#34; (also known simply as &#34;The Meet&#34;) by the English artist Heywood Hardy (1842-1933).

Hardy was a highly respected 19th century animal artist, famously known for his detailed equestrian portraits and sporting scenes. &#34;Autumn Meeting&#34; is one of his most recognizable works and was featured as a set piece in the television series &#34;Twin Peaks&#34;.

Subject: A group of riders in traditional hunting red coats and formal attire gathered with a pack of foxhounds, capturing the atmosphere of a traditional English hunt.

Use in &#34;Twin Peaks&#34; from &#39;Twin Peaks Blog&#39;:
&#34;If you look closely at the art on the walls of the Marsh mansion, you&#39;ll notice a fox hunting motif.
