Bring a touch of true vintage holiday history to your décor with this original Belmont “Treeliter” cast iron Christmas tree stand, dating from the 1920s–1930s.

This non-revolving model was manufactured by Belmont Electric Co. of Chicago, Illinois, known for their early electric “Treeliter” stands that featured built-in light sockets. This piece is crafted from heavy cast iron and painted a rich green. It includes four recessed light wells (originally designed to hold decorative bulbs), a central tree holder with three tightening screws, and a solid, wide base for excellent stability.

The stand is in great condition for its age, see pics, there is some rust. It measures 18&#34; in diameter.  It has an older style cord and plug on it but it works and is ready for display or use

Gimbal lamps, often used on historic vessels like the Titanic, are designed with a pivoting mechanism to keep the light upright on rocking ships, making them perfect for nautical-themed decor. 

The imprint on the wick knob says &#34;Gray Boston&#34;.  It stands about 8&#34; tall. It does not come with a glass shade. Three of the 4 d pieces on the arms that come from that part that holds the oil does not have the bolts.
