Lot #25: Assorted Heat Shrink & Braided PET Wire Sleeving Lot (Brand New)

Lot of assorted brand new shrink wrap tubing of various sizes and lengths. Each started out as a 200 ft. spool. Each color has a long uncut length and also may include multiple shorter cut-off pieces. Includes 1 spool of 40mm black tubing, 1 spool each of 24mm red, green, purple, light blue, and black tubing, and 1 package of 1/4" bright blue tubing. The bright blue PET tubing was originally 25 ft but a small portion was cut off for application testing (it worked as designed but did not meet our specific needs). These were purchased for a project and were left over, never used. Detailed manufacturer information: 40mm and 24mm tubing: SUMITUBE B2(3X) is a very flexible, flame-retardant, heat-shrinkable polyolefin tubing. B2(3X) is overexpanded to have a recovery ratio of 3 to 1, as opposed to the normal 2 to 1 recovery. B2(3X) is recognized by UL under Subject 224 as 125ºC 600V with a VW-1 rating. SUMITUBE B2(3X) meets the material and functional properties of AMS-DTL-23053/5, Classes 1 & 3, with exception to dimensions. B2(3X) is recommended for use in general purpose applications for protection of components in light wire harness assemblies. It can be used where oversized sub-components prevent the use of a standard heat shrinkable tubing. It can also provide the user with better economies, as one size tubing can often replace 2 standard 2:1 expanded tubing sizes, thereby reducing inventories. Bright blue PET tubing: The FLEXO PET (PT) grade is used in electronics, automotive, marine and industrial wire harnessing applications where cost efficiency and durability are critical. The unique braided construction and wide expandability allows quick and easy installation over large connectors and long runs. PT can be found in applications ranging from small office/home office to high tech wire and cable harnesses. The wide range of available colors and sizes allows easy and systematic color coding in complex wiring and cabling schemes. PET is braided from 10 mil polyethylene terepthalate (PET) monofilament yarns. The material has a wide operating temperature range, is resistant to chemical degradation, UV radiation, and abrasion.
