This exquisite artwork is a piece of Tokyo Bunka Shishu (Tokyo Culture Embroidery), a unique Japanese form of &#34;punch needle&#34; embroidery.

It uses Bunka Yarn, a kinky, rayon-based thread that creates a textured, 3D effect. This allows for a painterly quality that mimics the brushstrokes of an oil painting, especially visible in the snowy mountain peaks and pine trees. The thread is held in place solely by the tension of the fabric weave, meaning there are no knots on the back of the work.

This a complete set of the &#34;Images of Sport&#34; art collection by the renowned Canadian realist painter Ken Danby (1940–2007). It was created to commemorate the 1976 Montreal Olympics. It features six offset lithograph prints, each depicting a different Olympic discipline based on real Canadian athletes of that era. 

It comes with the namesake book Danby: Images of Sport (1978), written by Hubert de Santana,  shining light on Danby&#39;s arts and his capturing of the &#34;power, grace, and intensity&#34; of the human form in motion through lens.

This is a print of famous Spanish artist Diego Velázquez (1599-1660)’s oil painting masterpiece The Waterseller of Seville. Velázquez actually painted three versions of this scene.

In this image, the boy is buying water from the elderly water seller in Seville Spain, and the young man in the vague background is drinking water--representing three stages of life. There is a fig in the glass held by the boy, to keep the water tasting fresh at that time. The detail of the water droplets trickling down the side of the large clay jug and the transparency of the glass goblet demonstrate the painter’s incredible realism.
