Lot #23: Antique Pyrex 1L yellow tinted glass casserole with victor lid

Vintage Pyrex 1L Yellow Tinted Glass Casserole with Victor Lid Decorated with Etched Flowers Leaves and Vines C1920s Casserole bakeware dish and lid is in clear glass with a yellow tint to it, and features the "Victor"* lid. The lid is an etched flower, leaf and stem pattern. It is embossed with the US Patented logo with an S above the word PYREX and the backwards below the word Pyrex. This logo was used between 1919 and 1924. The rim of the dish has the number 193-293 on the outer rim. The Victor lid is marked 193-197 on one end and PYREX at the other end. across the top of the dish it measures 6 1/8" x 8 1/4" and is 3 5/8" tall. Victor Cover (n.) - Name for higher profile lid available as an option on early clear Pyrex casseroles. The Victor lid has the high knob and sits flat on the rim of the casserole. Considering this Pyrex piece is close to 100 years old, it is very nice vintage condition. There are some cutlery marks from use and there are lines from the unmolding process. There are a couple of tiny chips and rough edges on the inside and outside rim of the bowl and along the rim of the lid. This is common in glass of this age Pickup category timeslot {A}
