The thick hand-blown glass and sculptural profile make it a striking centerpiece and a highly collectible example of mid-century Czech studio glass. One of the larger and heavier examples of the Pizzicato series, with strong color presence and sculptural form. The name comes from the EXPO 1958 World Exhibition in Brussels, where the Czechoslovak pavilion won the Grand Prix and caused a huge international resonance.
