Dorothy S. Hallett (active 1913-1930) lived in Cromwell Avenue, Highgate in London and is listed as an animal painter of dogs and cats, miniaturist, and illustrator. Some of her paintings are reproduced in Hutchinson&#39;s &#39;Popular Illustrated Dog Encyclopaedia&#39;. She studied at the Academie Grande Chaumiere in Paris and exhibited work at a number of galleries, including five times at the Royal Academy, three times at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, and 61 times at Walker&#39;s Gallery in London.
