Patriotic souvenir handkerchief from the World War I era (approximately 1914–1918). These items were commonly sold to soldiers near war zones or to their families at home as mementos. 
: It features the musical score and lyrics to the popular wartime song &#34;It&#39;s a Long, Long Way to Tipperary,&#34; written by Jack Judge in 1912.
Imagery: Below the music, there is an image of a regiment of British soldiers marching.
Flags: The center is flanked by flags of the Allied nations. On one side, the Union Jack is crossed with the flags of Japan and Russia, and on the other, with the flags of Belgium and France.
Border: The edges are decorated with a border of colorful geometric patterns or symbols, sometimes including shamrocks.
