"Chapel #2" is a modern-age superhero/anti-hero comic book published by Image Comics in March 1995. Written by Brian Witten with interior art and cover by Calvin Irving, this issue is the second chapter of the first solo miniseries for the character Bruce Stinson, the deadly government assassin known as Chapel. Following the character's introduction in the pages of "Youngblood" and his controversial role in the origin of "Spawn," this solo outing dives deeper into the protagonist's fractured psyche and his past with the mysterious Operation: Knightstrike. In this issue, Chapel finds himself hunted by an elite black-ops team sent to tie up loose ends, leading to a high-octane confrontation that showcases the character's ruthless tactical proficiency and signature twin-pistol combat style. This series was part of the "extreme" wave of mid-90s Image titles, characterized by Calvin Irving's heavily rendered, muscular art style and a focus on dark, military-espionage themes. A notable mid-90s entry from the Rob Liefeld-adjacent "Extreme Studios" era. Dimensions: 26 cm Pickup category timeslot {A}
