"Comics' Greatest World: King Tiger #1" is a modern-age mystical action and superhero comic book published by Dark Horse Comics in September 1993. Written by Randy Stradley with interior art by Paul Chadwick and Jimmy Palmiotti, and a cover by Geof Darrow, this debut one-shot issue was released as "Week 3" of the Vortex segment in the ambitious 16-week Comics' Greatest World event. The narrative follows King Tiger, a master martial artist and sorcerer raised in a Tibetan monastery, as he travels through the desolate Nevada desert near the inter-dimensional rift known as the Vortex. The story is noted for its blend of traditional Eastern mysticism with 90s urban sci-fi and for Paul Chadwick’s expressive, grounded artistic style that provided a unique visual contrast to the more traditional superhero titles in the line. This issue remains a cult favorite for collectors of the Stradley/Chadwick collaboration and fans of the early 90s Dark Horse Universe. Dimensions: 26 cm Pickup category timeslot {A}
