Reeded Edge The 1974 Winnipeg Centennial Trade Dollar is a pivotal piece of Manitoba numismatics. It honors the 100th anniversary of Winnipeg’s incorporation as a city (1874–1974) by juxtaposing its first mayor, Francis Cornish, with the mayor serving during the centennial year, Stephen Juba, who served as Winnipeg's mayor for 21 years (1956–1977).
