Obverse: Features the modern, stylized portrait of Queen Juliana (1909-2004), facing right. The inscription JULIANA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN follows the circular rim. Reverse: Features the denomination 10 in a large, bold font in the center, with CENT below it. Above the "10" is a small crown. To the left of the "10" is the Mercury Staff (Utrecht Mint) and to the right is the Mint Master mark, with the date positioned at the bottom. This lot of five coins includes diverse coins from Queen Juliana's long reign from from 1948 until her abdication in 1980. Dates included in this lot include 1948, 1957, 1959, 1971, and 1976. The 1957 Netherlands 10 cent coin, commonly known as the Dubbeltje, is a silver-colored cupro-nickel issue from the reign of Queen Juliana. This coin, the smallest in the Dutch decimal set, is part of the standard post-war series that remained in circulation until the introduction of the Euro.
