Obverse: Features the Small Imperial Eagle (Reichsadler), the heraldic symbol of the German Empire. The eagle bears the Prussian shield on its chest and is adorned with the collar of the Order of the Black Eagle. At the bottom, the mint mark E is positioned Reverse: Displays a large numeral "1" in the center. Below the numeral is the word PFENNIG. Below the numeral is the inscription DEUTSCHES REICH, and the date 1900. The 1900 E One Pfennig was issued during the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm II. This coin was a staple of the German Empire’s currency system following the unification of Germany in 1871. Struck at the Muldenhütten Mint (identified by the "E" mint mark), it reflects the imperial stability and industrial growth characteristic of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. the 1900 E is part of the second type of imperial pfennigs, which featured a slightly redesigned eagle compared to the post-unification 1873 issues. The Muldenhütten Mint (E) was located in Saxony and typically had much lower mintage figures than the major Berlin (A) or Munich (D) mints. In 1900, only 1.7 million pieces were struck with the "E" mark, making it significantly scarcer than the nearly 47 million struck in Berlin that same year. Dimensions: Bronze. 17.5 mm. 2 g.
