Lot #626: Rare Germany 1876 H Two Pfennig Coin - Imperial Eagle ("Reichsadler") - German Empire ("Deutsche Reich") - Over 150 Years Old!

Obverse: Features the Small Imperial Eagle (Reichsadler) of the German Empire. The eagle is depicted with the Hohenzollern shield on its breast and is surrounded by the chain of the Order of the Black Eagle. The mint mark H (Darmstadt) is positioned at the very bottom Reverse: Displays the large numeral "10" in the center, signifying the denomination. Above the numeral is the word PFENNIG. The inscription DEUTSCHES REICH 1876 is positioned around the rim above. The entire design is enclosed within a dotted border. The 1876 H Two Pfennig coin was issued during the early years of the German Empire, following the currency unification under the Mark standard. Struck during the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm I, this coin was minted at the Darmstadt Mint (identified by the "H" mint mark). This period represents the consolidation of the German monetary system into a single, cohesive imperial currency. The 1876 H is a notably scarce issue.
