Lot #42: Vintage Vanity or Writing Desk and Matching Chair WUNDER MADE CO

Mid century or before, Small desk or vanity with matching small chair. Made of hardwood by The WUNDER FURNITURE MANUFACTURING CO, which was an historic Canadian furniture company located in Kitchener Ontario. It started in the early 1900s and went out of business in the mid 1950s. The wood is most likely oak. The desk is 25 x 30 x 16 inches. The chair is 31.5 (at tallest point) x 15 x 14 inches. It has an upholstered seat. There are carvings on both pieces. The desk has four ornate cabriole legs. The two front legs of the chair are ornate cabriole. The back two are plain but gently curved.
