Antique celadon glazed stoneware dish, 10"

Rare Find 1650 -1800 Stoneware Celadon Dish. This plate has the characteristic thick curd like late Ming-early Ching glaze which is normally grey-white or off-green in colour. Like the famous Lung Chuan Celadon plates, they have an unglazed band in the well of the plate. These items were for Provincial or Village use and were exported during the 17th and 18th centuries as ballast in sailing ships.
