Ndebele jocolo (or itjogolo), a beaded five-paneled ceremonial apron worn by married women in South Africa. The Ndebele are one of the most colorful people in all of Africa. A Jocolo is a five paneled apron worn only by a married woman to celebrate her success in having borne children. Jocolos are worn on important ceremonial occasions.
