This bronze sculpture by Canadian wildlife artist Rick Taylor, titled The Traditional Way, depicts an African hunting scene. Created in 1989, it is signed by the artist and numbered 12 of a limited edition of 24. Scene of an African man poling a skiff carrying a freshly hunted Kudu antelope, a species native to sub-Saharan Africa. Rich in detail and cultural narrative, the sculpture captures the essence of traditional hunting methods and African wildlife. The bronze is mounted on a wooden base and is accompanied by a larger, 39-inch-tall freestanding base. For ease of transport and display, the sculpture and stand are designed as two separate pieces.
