Alton ware dinner plate from Staffordshire, England. Produced in the early 20th century. Tea caddy features a hexagonal shape and a blue & white figural scene pattern. Maker is William Adams (England). Pattern is "Chinese Bird" introduced around 1780 based on Chinese designs. Traditional framed Dutch-style Delft blue tile dating back to the 18th to 19th centuries. Commonly used for wall decor. 2 cachepots/planters with gilt rims; Condition: crackle glaze, crazing, gilt wear on rims, visible crack and chip on the rim. Pickup category timeslot {A}
