Vintage Chinese Porcelain Vase w/ Hand-Woven Bamboo Wrap • These were produced during the mid-20th century, specifically around the 1960's. • This one shows the intricate weaving patterns, and showcase classic motifs like panda bears amidst bamboo foliage. • The porcelain part of this piece was likely made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, however there is no "chop mark on the base. • The intricate bamboo weaving is a specialty of Sichuan Province particularly areas like Chengdu, Qingshen, and Qionglai. • High-quality pieces from Sichuan masters, like those from the Chengdu or Qingshen regions, can have over 20 filaments per centimetre. • In very good condition, no breaks, cracks, or chips to the porcelain.
