BOMA - "Sea to Sky Collection" Platter • This was designed by acclaimed Kwakwaka'wakw and Tlingit artist Corrine Hunt. Hunt, who co-designed the medals for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, often uses these designs to explore themes of environmental elements and Pacific Northwest Coast traditions. • The platter features abstracted Indigenous motifs and is typically made in Canada from recycled glass or a blend of recycled marble and crushed glass resin. • Symbolism: The inscription "eagle freedom in yourself" highlights the eagle as a symbol of freedom, strength, and grace. In Northwest Coast Indigenous traditions, eagles are also sacred messengers to the creator. • These come in three sizes.
