Clive Tucker - Water Wave Mug • Clive, originally from London, earned two science degrees; a BSc in Applied Physics, and an MSc in Energy Conservation before pursuing art. • His artistic journey began in 1993 as an apprenticeship under Lotte Glob at The Far North Pottery in Scotland, where he learned wheel throwing. • Tucker immigrated to Burlington Ontario in 1994, and then moved to Vancouver in 1998 to attend the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, graduating in 2000. • This is a buff stoneware clay fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. The exterior glaze is a matte turquoise, and the interior is a shiny white glaze. • He has signed the piece, as well as adding his Chop Mark to "CT" • In excellent condition, no breaks or cracks, or chips.
