Here is a lot of two vintage psychedelic rock concert posters by artist Wes Wilson from the Fillmore Era. Here is what you get: BG-17-RP-3--[Untitled]. Number 17 in the Bill Graham series (poster is approximately 14" x 20") from a concert featuring (for the very first time together) The Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco on 7/17-17/1966. This poster was created by famed rock poster artist, Wes Wilson (1937-2020), who was one of the Big Five rock poster artists and is widely considered to be the Godfather of the psychedelic rock poster movement. This is actually a third print poster (a second authorized reprint), identified as such by the blue color on the back and the number "17" above Wes Wilson's signature, (according to the guidelines of Eric King's famous reference book) and is in near mint condition. It was more than likely printed just after the concent but I have not been ascertain the exact date. BG-21-RP-2--[Untitled]. Number 21 in the Bill Graham series (poster is approximately 14" x 20") from a concert performed by Love and Everpresent Fullness at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco on 8/5-6/1966. This poster was created by famed rock poster artist, Wes Wilson (1937-2020), who was one of the Big Five rock poster artists and is widely considered to be the Godfather of the psychedelic rock poster movement. This is a second print poster, determined by the fact that the back of the poster does NOT fluoresce under a black light and there is no green line through the first "T" in "Tickets" on the bottom left (according to the guidelines of Eric King's famous reference book) and is in NEAR MINT condition. This poster was originally thought to be a first print poster but in 2005 Eric King discovered that this is actually a very early authorized reprint poster in 1966. These posters have been stored flat for decades and are both in near mint condition. They would frame up beautifully. They are getting hard to find in this condition. Located upstairs.
