Here is a lot of two vintage and original psychedelic rock concert posters from the Fillmore Era. Here is what you get: FD-D2-OP-1--"Haw Haw," Number 2 in the Family Dog-Denver series, a short series of concerts held at 1601 West Evans Street, Denver, CO, The poster is approximately 15" x 23" from a concert performed by Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Charlatans, and Superband help on 9/15-17/1967. The poster was created by Michael Ferguson and George Hunter, two members of The Charlatans. The caricature in the middle is The Charlatans playing their instruments and was drawn by Michael Ferguson. George Hunter did the lettering. According to the guidelines of Eric King's famous reference book, this is a FIRST PRINT poster as it was only printed once. The poster is in near mint condition. FD-D6-OP-1--"Prominent Apache," Number 6 in the Family Dog-Denver series, a short series of concerts held at 1601 West Evans Street, Denver, CO. The poster is approximately 14" x 20" from a concert featuring Van Morrison and Daily Flash performed on 10/13-14/1967. The poster was created by the famed rock poster artist duo of Stanley Mouse (b. 1940) and Alton Kelley (1940-2008) and both members of the Big Five rock poster artists. This is an original FIRST PRINT poster, only printed once (according to the guidelines of Eric King's famous reference book) and is in NEAR MINT condition. These posters have been stored flat for decades. Located upstairs.
