Portable Tibetan Ghau altar, which is a reliquary shrine traditionally used to carry sacred relics, charms, or medicine for protection. Strap is shown, but is not attached. This lot also includes an antique clay Buddha and an antique bronze Buddha marked as being 18th century or earlier, found buried in a stupa - this is from the note on the bottom of piece.

African antique metal ring artifact, in two pieces formed to join together, with raised pattern tribal details. This is a rare piece. This piece appears to be Kru or Grebo from Liberia - though this piece does seem more rare than others with open ends versus solid joined construction - as the patterns, style, four knobs and line art details can be seen in other pieces from these regions, but this piece represents a very unique joinery craftsmanship. This is LARGE - it is not a coin. This piece is HEAVY and 9&#34; in diameter when connected. A very fine piece of African antique hand crafted metal work.

We also have a vintage Modernist brass and silvered metal hieroglyph pendant necklace and a special abstract sterling silver brooch. Hyundai Heavy Ind. Atlantic Baron bronze plaque

In 1974 shipbuilding was already an important industry in South Korea, although it was not yet the global leader that it is today. South Korea had been investing heavily in shipbuilding since the 1960s as part of its efforts to industrialize and develop its economy.
This heavy plaque was presented to those who visited the shipbuilding industry in Korea. The box has some wear but structurally sound, the plaque is no longer glued to its backing (but it sits perfectly in the box still).  
The brass plate is approx 6.5 x 5 inches and is in good condition.
