Lot #119: Antique Architectural Hardware – Brass Oval Set & Black Mineral Knob

While cleaning out an estate sale garage, I found in a box these Antique Architectural Hardware – Brass Oval Set & Black Mineral Knob. I am not an appraiser or collector, but with some research, I was able to determine that these items are from the estimated period of late 19th to Early 20th Century and the materials is Brass, Iron, Mineral/Porcelain. This lot includes one complete brass oval knob set with spindle and a single "Bennington-style" black mineral doorknob with a rustic iron shank. These pieces are "as-found" and have not been polished or cleaned, preserving the original historical finish and patina.
