Lot #93: "History of the George Washington Bicentennial Celebration" 4 Volumes

In 1932 the U.S. Government completed a massive project in celebration of the 200th anniversary of George Washington's birth. Five volumes were created to document the history of this undertaking. This lot includes Vols 1, 2, 3 and 5. Volume 4 is missing. It told of foreign participation in the bicentennial. The Phoenixville Public Library donated these volumes to us after determining that they had little use. They told us that these volumes were given to every library. They have great photos and information and are heavy reading. But they give the entire story of the George Washington Bicentennial Celebration. Dimensions: 9.5" by 12" Pickup category timeslot {A}
