Estate Sterling silver from BIRKS in the Tudor Royal pattern. 8 speciality fish/seafood/oyster forks. This Birks silverware pattern is in the traditional English revival styles and each piece is monogrammed with a stylistic M. All pieces are stamped “BIRKS STERLING” along with date letters ranging from h to o, consistent with Birks production in the mid-late 1920s to early 1930s. This type of formal dining piece was typical of the pre WWII era. These forks, although more delicate than the other matching pieces are striking in this pattern. These specialty pieces come from the same single-owner sterling collection, assembled gradually in the 1970s. Acquired to complement the core service, they reflect traditional formal dining addition offering the opportunity to expand or refine the core dinner set.
