Lot #295: Victorian burr walnut sewing table with Satinwood Inlay

Victorian burr walnut sewing table, circa mid 1800s. Hinged top that opens to reveal a fitted interior used for sewing supplies. The interior has been restored with new, unfinished wood to create sewing compartments. The table has a scalloped or serpentine-shaped apron with a sunken basket for storing needlework. Ornate turned legs with a central stretcher. Satinwood inlay on the lid and front of basket. The lid has significant damage to top of wood as seen in photos. The legs are very sturdy and the table is solid. Measures: 27" high by 25.25" wide by 17" deep SAYER: Condition as seen in photos.
