This is a vintage collector's binder of "Golden Replicas of United States Stamps" from 1982 to 1983, produced by the Postal Commemorative Society (PCS). The binder has 40 replicas of historic U.S. stamps that are crafted with a thin layer of 22kt gold foil, plus 40 matching first-day-of-issue real USPS postage stamps with the same design. Each of the 40 profiled stamps also has a card that lists the First Day of Issue, First Day City, Stamp Designer, and background information about the stamp. Comes in a brown leatherette personalized binder. The Postal Commemorative Society was a direct mail subscription service in the United States (circa 1980s through the early 2000s).
