All in excellent condition, 4 3/4" high. See my other lots for lots more cornflower! W.J. Hughes Corn Flower glass is a celebrated Canadian success story, spanning over 70 years of production (1912–1988). The glassware is characterized by a distinct, hand-cut floral pattern developed by William John "Jack" Hughes. He was a skilled glass-cutter who worked for Roden Brothers in Toronto starting in 1901. Around 1912, while working in the basement of his Wychwood Avenue home in Toronto, Hughes perfected the "Corn Flower" pattern, inspired by the blue wildflower. The design features a 12-petal fringed flower - any less, and its not real Corn Flower! Pickup category timeslot {A}
