Bidding starts in 0d 2h 12m

One tumbler has a very small chip on the foot but it is not sharp. Salt and pepper lids have some corrosion. Platter is 12" across. Stand not included. W.J. Hughes Corn Flower glass is a celebrated Canadian success story, spanning over 70 years of production (1912–1988). The glassware is characterized by a distinct, hand-cut floral pattern developed by William John "Jack" Hughes. He was a skilled glass-cutter who worked for Roden Brothers in Toronto starting in 1901. Around 1912, while working in the basement of his Wychwood Avenue home in Toronto, Hughes perfected the "Corn Flower" pattern, inspired by the blue wildflower. The design features a 12-petal fringed flower - any less, and its not real Corn Flower! Pickup category timeslot {A}
