This item is a glass drinking horn, often referred to as a rhyton or a Vikings-style glass horn. It mimics the shape of a traditional animal horn but is hand-blown from clear glass. The glass loop near the rim is designed to secure a leather or cord strap, allowing the horn to be worn over the shoulder or around the neck, as it cannot stand upright on its own.
