This expansive auction lot offers a curated mix of vintage American pottery and high-quality European mid-century modern design. It features a diverse range of functional art from three renowned lines: Fiestaware, its "sister" line Harlequin, Hankscraft, and Danish Mepal melamine. Homer Laughlin Pottery (Ceramic): -Fiesta Medium "C-Handled" Teapot: An authentic vintage centerpiece in the classic Original Green glaze (produced 1936–1951). Features the signature concentric rings and a flawless "C" shaped handle. -Harlequin Double Egg Cups (3): These are the tall, flared, cone-shaped ceramic cups produced for Woolworth's between 1936 and 1959. They are reversible, with a larger cup on top and a smaller base. Collectors highly prize these double egg cups because they are considered one of the more elusive and hard-to-find accessory shapes in teh entire Homer Laughlin line. -Hankscraft "Go-Along" Egg Cups (3): Distinct from the Harlequins, these shorter, ribbed ceramic vessels were designed specifically to coordinate with the Hankscraft electric egg cooker and the Fiesta line. -Fiesta Ball Salt & Pepper Shakers: A vintage pair in Radioactive Red (Orange) and Original Green, complete with their signature spherical shape and original stoppers. -Hankscraft "Go-Along" Cream Soup Bowl: A matching turquoise bowl with distinctive "lug" or tab handles. European Mid-Century Modern (Melamine & Ceramic): -Mepal Denmark "Copenhagen" Egg Cups (6): High-quality chocolate-brown melamine cups designed by Bjørn Christiansen for the Rosti Mepal line. These represent iconic 1960s Danish modernism. -Mepal Denmark Purple Cup: A matching vibrant purple beaker/cup from the same durable melamine line. -G.M. Thurnauer & Co German Ceramic Egg Cup: A delicate small dish featuring a whimsical duck and clover motif, clearly marked "Made in Germany." Divets on the rim to hold salt and pepper. Collector’s Notes: Rarity & Authenticity The "Radioactive Red" Factor: The Red (Orange) items, including one of the salt and pepper shakers and one of the egg cups, likely contain uranium oxide in the glaze. This was a hallmark of Homer Laughlin’s production until 1943 and is a major point of interest for vintage pottery enthusiasts. Pickup category timeslot {A}
