Lot #12: Vintage, Original Large Wooden Arbor Gallery Hanging Sign with Iron Frame, 1/2

This was one of the original painted wooden signs that hung at the Arbor Gallery's old location in the 90s/early 2000s. It is surrounded by an iron frame and retains its brilliant colour for the most part. It is heavy and you'll need an appropriate vehicle to transport and help to move but it would look so fun hanging in a garden or studio for inspiration or you could make it your own by repainting. It is one of two similar gallery signs on offer in this auction. Note: this piece is heavy. Bring help to move. This auction is being run by the Arbor Gallery in Vankleek Hill to raise funds for our ongoing work in supporting art and artists in diverse genres in a welcoming and inclusive setting. Vankleek Hill, the Gingerbread Capitol of Ontario, is located just under an hour east of Ottawa and about an hour west of Montreal. Its central location makes it ideal for a day trip through some pretty spectacular countryside and, while in Vankleek, you'll find lots to see and do, including a visit to the Gallery itself. Once you're here, pay a visit to our local museum and pick up a walking tour map, drive out to the Vineyard for a fantastic pizza, or take the painted silo tour around the area and stop at our local brewery for refreshments when you're done!
