Lot #22: Handmade Artisinal Periwinkle Blue Silk Blouse by Textile Artist, Jessica Sarrazin

This blouse is classically designed with stunning tailoring featuring perfect French seams and finely finished hems. The silk is a very high quality fabric and the blouse has been personally designed and executed by very well known local textile artist, Jessica Sarrazin. Noted to have two small marks on the inside of the blouse that do not seem to show on the outside but blouse has never been worn or used and is in excellent condition. Photos don't do just to the gorgeous periwinkle blue colour! No size but seems to fit about a medium/large. This auction is being run by the Arbor Gallery in Vankleek Hill to raise funds for our ongoing work in supporting art and artists in diverse genres in a welcoming and inclusive setting. Vankleek Hill, the Gingerbread Capitol of Ontario, is located just under an hour east of Ottawa and about an hour west of Montreal. Its central location makes it ideal for a day trip through some pretty spectacular countryside and, while in Vankleek, you'll find lots to see and do, including a visit to the Gallery itself. Once you're here, pay a visit to our local museum and pick up a walking tour map, drive out to the Vineyard for a fantastic pizza, or take the painted silo tour around the area and stop at our local brewery for refreshments when you're done!
