This antique unframed attached to heavy board print is a hand- colored engraving by Victorian Era artist Charles Burton Barber. The scene, titled "Oblivious to their honours," (1874) depicts several St. Bernard puppies in hay with a "First Prize" sign. It originated from the St. Bernard Club Dog Show. Published in the December 2, 1882 issue of The Graphic, a British weekly publication. Print measures 8 inches in height, 14 inches in length. With mat it measures 13 inches in height, 20 inches in length. Please view all photos as they are part of the description.
