During the clean out of an estate sale, I found in box these Vintage Watch Lot: Speidel Quartz & Vostok Komandirskie Case. Since, I am not an appraiser or collector, I elected to do some research and it was determined that the lot consists of the following items – Item 1: Speidel Express Quartz Wristwatch A classic, dependable everyday timepiece featuring a rugged yet professional aesthetic. • Dial: Deep black textured face with high-contrast white Arabic numerals. • Movement: Quartz (Battery operated). • Features: Three-hand analog display with "Water Resistant" marking. • Band: Includes an iconic Speidel Twist-O-Flex stainless steel expansion band for a comfortable, adjustable fit. • Condition: Pre-owned with visible character; minor scuffing on the crystal and casing consistent with regular wear. Item 2: Vostok "Komandirskie" Soviet-Era Watch Head A fascinating piece of horological history, this is a classic Russian military-style watch head. • Design: Features a cream dial with a "Red Star" and military crest motif, framed by a blue and white rotating bezel. • Dial Details: Roman numeral hour markers with a unique nautical/military theme. • Case: Scalloped "tank" style chrome-plated case. • Note: This is the watch head only (no strap). It is an excellent candidate for a custom NATO strap or leather band pairing. • Condition: Vintage condition. The bezel shows some light wear, and the crystal has minor surface marks.
