Lot #63: Western Belt Buckles – 2

While cleaning out a storage locker, I found in a box these Western Belt Buckles – 2. This set of two Western-style belt buckles includes a bold, "Skin" word buckle and a classic rodeo-style floral buckle featuring a bucking bronco. Since, I am not an appraiser or collector, but with some research I was able to determine following – Item 1: "Skin" Stylized Word Buckle This unique buckle features the word "Skin" rendered in a heavy, Old English or Gothic-style typeface. • Design: A cutout silhouette style with a brushed or antiqued silver-tone finish. • Dimensions: Approximately 4 inches wide. • Details: The back is stamped with "SKIN" and includes a standard swivel bar and peg for attachment to most snap-on belts. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a slight natural patina that adds to its character. Item 2: Classic Western Bucking Bronco Buckle A traditional oval-shaped buckle with high-relief detailing and a multi-tone finish. • Design: Features a raised, gold-tone bucking bronco rider at the center, surrounded by intricate silver-tone floral scrolls and a classic rope-twist border. • Construction: High-shine polished finish with darkened recessed areas to emphasize the engraving. • Details: Includes a "Made in Hong Kong" sticker on the reverse; equipped with a sturdy metal loop and pin. • Condition: Brilliant shine with minimal surface wear.
