1950s Modernist Gliddon Pottery Covered Pan, Serving Dish It is from the Sculptured Stoneware line (the 400 series) and was designed in 1953 by the founder Glidden Parker (1913 - 1980) The line won the "Good Design" from the Museum of Modern Art. The glaze is called Sage and Sand. Gliddenware can be found in many museums including the International Museum of Dinnerware Design.
