This is a Canadian five-dollar bill from the Canadian Journey series, which was in circulation between 2001 and 2013.
Key Features of this Bill:
Portrait: The face features Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Canada&#39;s seventh Prime Minister and first francophone leader.
Background Building: The central image is a vignette of the West Block of Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
Security Details: This specific note appears to be the upgraded version issued in November 2006, identifiable by the vertical holographic metallic stripe on the left.
Signatures: The signatures at the bottom right are those of W.P. Jenkins (Senior Deputy Governor) and M. Carney (Governor), which confirms it is part of the later 2006–2010 printing period.
