This is a quality made old school Tripod. Velbon is a respected Japanese brand that offers a great middle-ground for photography and videography equipment. **Please Note:  The crank ‘Handle’ that is used to raise and lower the centre column snapped off. The centre column on the tripod is the vertical post in the middle that lets you raise or lower your camera without adjusting the length of the tripod legs. All other features of this tripod are in tact and functional.  Perhaps a replacement handle can be found online, or you can make the required height work by adjusting the legs instead. As is.
