The Classic Metal Box: A well-loved, heavy-duty galvanized metal tackle box. It has that perfect, authentic patina of rust and wear that tells the story of early mornings on misty lakes. The Green Double-Sided Box: A fantastic green plastic tackle box, featuring clear lids and cork-lined compartments. This style was an absolute staple for keeping hooks sharp and moisture at bay. The Lures & Baits The "Lucky Louie" Plug: This is a showstopper! A large, vintage wooden salmon plug painted in a vibrant, fading pink and white with a bright red slanted nose and painted eye. Helin's Flatfish: You have several original Helin's Fly-Rod Flatfish lures, still sitting in their original cardboard boxes! One even sports a retro neon orange price tag for 97 cents from the iconic Canadian "Army & Navy" department store. The Spoon Collection: A fantastic assortment of metal spoons and spinners, including recognizable names like Krocodile and Gibbs. There are silver, gold, and painted varieties (like the classic red and white stripe) ready to catch the light. Gibbs Herring Dodger: A large, highly reflective silver flasher/dodger used for deep-water trolling. The Custom Rod & Vintage Reel "Rich-Make" Custom Rod: A beautiful piece of local history! This bright yellow fiberglass fishing rod features hand-painted script reading "Custom made by 'RICH-MAKE' Vancouver, Can." It has classic thread wrapping and a ton of retro character. Vintage Spinning Reel: Safely tucked into a red, white, and blue cardboard box is a classic black spinning reel (looks to be a Shakespeare). It even includes a vintage canvas reel bag and original folded paperwork. The Outdoor Accessories 6-12 Insect Repellent: This might be my favourite quirky item in the lot—a vintage glass bottle of "6-12" brand bug spray. It is an absolute classic for any retro camping or fishing display. The Fishing Knife: A sturdy, fixed-blade hunting or filleting knife with a black handle, housed in a wonderfully worn, riveted brown leather sheath. Vintage Floats & Line: Scattered throughout the metal box are traditional painted wooden bobbers/floats and an antique wooden spool wrapped with thick, dark fishing line.
