Welcome back to my quirky little shop of wonders! Since you want the full, unrestricted grand tour of this table—and now that we know the pedigree of those stunning blue bowls—let’s dive right into this fabulous haul. This collection is a wonderful, eclectic mix of mid-century Scandinavian design, classic Americana glassware, and bold retro colours. Here is a detailed breakdown of every delightful treasure you see spread out before us: The Norwegian Stars Figgjo Flameware "Tor Viking" Set: These are the undisputed stars of the table! You have a deep blue skillet with a sturdy wooden handle and a matching lidded casserole dish. Made in Norway, these "Vulcanus" pieces were engineered to go directly onto gas or electric stovetops. The lids feature that iconic, stylized blue and green floral and berry motif that instantly screams mid-century Scandinavian elegance. The Anchor Hocking Glassware Anchor Hocking Cobalt Blue Bowls: Sitting brightly at the top of the table are three stunning, deep cobalt blue glass mixing bowls. Knowing these are genuine Anchor Hocking pieces makes them even better! They are in graduated sizes, making them a perfectly nestable set. The glass is beautifully translucent, catching the light perfectly. They are incredibly durable and perfect for serving a summer salad or mixing up a batch of cookies with a brilliant pop of retro 1980s colour. The Quirky Ceramics Turquoise Divided Shell Dish: This piece is an absolute mid-century delight! It is a glossy, brightly coloured turquoise/teal ceramic serving dish moulded into the shape of three conjoined scallop shells. There is a small hole in the center, suggesting it may have originally had a metal carrying handle. It has a fantastic coastal, retro-tiki vibe that would be perfect for serving nuts, olives, or candies at your next cocktail party. Blue and White Striped Casserole: This is a lovely, substantial piece of cream-coloured stoneware featuring clean, minimalist blue banding around the rim, base, and lid. It has a very classic, almost French-country or farmhouse aesthetic, complete with a smoothly contoured lid handle and small, integrated side tabs for lifting. Whimsical Whale Plate: This is arguably the most charming and folksy piece on the table. It is a small, hand-painted ceramic plate or trivet featuring a wonderfully playful illustration of a pinkish whale (or perhaps a very stylized fish!) spouting water while riding blue and green stylized ocean waves. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive, giving it an authentic studio-pottery feel. The Vintage Workhorses Footed Aluminum Colander: A fantastic, vintage aluminum strainer. It features a pedestal base, a beautifully patterned arrangement of drainage holes, and two riveted loop handles on the sides. It has that perfect, slightly matte patina that only vintage aluminum gets—a true workhorse piece that looks just as good displaying fresh fruit on the counter as it does draining pasta. Clear Glass Baking Dish: A heavy-duty, rectangular clear glass baking pan. It features thick glass handles on the ends and is the absolute backbone of any vintage or modern kitchen. It is ready for decades more of lasagnas, casseroles, and brownies. Pickup category timeslot {A}
