Collectible Hermes 3000 manual typewriter, Made in Switzerland, featuring the classic pale seafoam/grey body and distinctive mid-century design for which the Hermes 3000 is known.

This example is particularly notable for its uncommon Techno typeface, an unusual modernist type style sought by typewriter enthusiasts and collectors.

Keys have been tested and are working. Features include the full keyboard, tabulator controls, ribbon selector, carriage return lever and original Hermes 3000 badging. Full mechanical operation has not been professionally serviced or evaluated.

No carrying case included.

Designed by Swedish artist Bertil Vallien in the 1960s, it is made of silver-plated metal and holds 12 tiny taper candles. Beautiful and distinctive collectible MCM design.

One small underside area was lightly test-polished to show how the finish may clean up. Remaining patina/tarnish left intact.
